The new NBC/WSJ poll shows Obama with a widening 10% lead over McCain as of October 20. Note that McCain’s numbers began their slide when the pollsters started asking questions about Sarahcuda.
The trouble with numbers like this is that, if they keep the same or higher spreads, some voters may think that their vote isn’t needed. We need to recall that the popular vote is not necessarily reflected in the electoral votes due to our outdated system, and every vote is still critical, regardless of our affiliations or preferences.
