Sea Grape Jungle

This is what the interior of a Florida coastal Sea Grape jungle looks like.  Imagine what the first explorers must have thought when they came across the beach and walked into this!  Beats a mangrove swamp, anyway.  There are only a few extremely small stretches of this habitat left, the rest having been cleared for development.  This one is in Ocean Ridge, maintained by the Palm Beach County Parks Department.  It was preserved from development by the Nature Conservancy.

Got an opinion? Keep it clean. Don't ask open-ended questions, like "Does the Pope belong to a coven?" Make it pertinent.
