Blood drive begins in honor of injured officer Cheryl Griffin

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office has organized a blood drive in honor of injured officer, Deputy Cheryl Griffin.

The drive is taking place at the Sheriff’s Office main headquarters at 3228 Gun Club Road in West Palm Beach. It will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Griffin, who has been employed at the Sheriff’s Office since 2006, had her arm amputated and is in a coma after an off-duty boating accident that took place on Saturday in Jupiter.
