Note:  These images were sent to me and represented as having been taken by the crane operator who lifted the Airbus 320 out of the river.  I have no idea if that is correct, but they were obviously taken by a member or members of the salvage crew.

I also have no idea if they have been copyrighted, but I do know that they have been sent all over the Web.  There were a couple of dozen email addresses forwarded to me with the photos (see my article about blind copying), and that person sent them to a dozen or so folks, who have by now doubtless forwarded them as well, so I have no compunction about publishing them here.
