In fact, why didn’t we have a vote? I know, you could vote on some obscure Web site for your choice of new song, but why didn’t the state make a big deal out of publicizing things, and let people vote on the change, not just on which of several inept attempts at silliness would be chosen instead of Foster’s classic?
Oh, that’s right. Voting doesn’t count in Florida. Yet.
