South Florida water summit to help prepare for future droughts
Forecasters warn that summer rains might not be enough to lift South Florida out of one its worst droughts on record, setting up the possibility of an even worse water supply problem next year.
As a result, the South Florida Water Management District plans to host a meeting of water experts, farmers, bass fishermen and anyone else with water concerns to discuss how to prepare for the next drought.

More Than 1,000 New Citizens Sworn In At Magic Kingdom
More than 1,000 people from 100 countries fulfilled the American dream by becoming American citizens on the Fourth of July at the Magic Kingdom.The participants ranged in age from 2 years old to 60 years old.
The festivities started at around 8:20 a.m. with a welcome from Walt Disney World president Meg Crofton and Gloria Estafan singing the National Anthem. At 8:30 a.m., the oath was given by Emilio Gonzalez, the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The Better World Club provides services to motorists in the USA, and supports organizations seeking to reduce the environmental damage done by automobiles. It is generally considered to be an alternative to the American Automobile Association (AAA), which provides similar services but also lobbies for government subsidies to automobile use. It describes itself as “the nation’s only environmentally friendly auto club.” It offers a bicycle membership and caters to hybrid car owners.
